Prime Timers is a ministry of First United Methodist Church that focuses on senior adults ages 55 and up. Prime Timers is a once a month gathering of senior adults who enjoy a speaker, a meal, and a time of fellowship. We also find time each month to have a day trip of some kind. Recent trips have included: Atlanta Braves game, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing tour, trip to the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, Florida, and also to view the Dead Sea Scrolls in Mobile.

Prime Timers have an ongoing fund raiser, the sale of Rada Cutlery, which helps to subsidize the cost of the outings for all of our members. This fund raiser also provides supplies for use in the church kitchen.

We meet on the first Monday of each month in the church Fellowship Hall. Meeting time is from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (with lunch served in the middle).
